Research Question

3 questions  Do you think people should be more aware of their social media use because of the negative mental impacts it may cause? P1- I do think that people should be more cognizant of what content they are taking in and how it affects them P2- I think that people would be better off by limiting their use of  social media. P3-  It is obvious that a lot of social media is carefully curated and fake so it does not effect my moods or mental health much.  I have detached social media and the perceived value that some people have surrounding it How does social media affect your daily life?   Rory Day Lyndsey Weiner  Wrt 205  2/15/24                                    Unit 1 reflection Technology is such a broad term and I have always had trouble narrowing down what I wanted to research about.  There are so many different ways that you could take this opportunity, but I chose to take a closer look into the relationship between social media and people's minds.  Whether that was mental health, how people connect with each other, or how it changes how your brain works and operates.  I had trouble really connecting the first source to any of my other sources because it was an article talking about a small pencil shop and the appreciation of an outdated piece of technology.  Seeing the good in something considered obsolete was interesting but I had a hard time connecting it to any topic regarding technology that interested me....
